Engage is designed to empower you to establish a strong framework of connection and intimacy; identify weaknesses that may become problems and resources to navigate them; equip you with easy to use tools that will last a lifetime of years together.

Steve and Lorraine like to spend six sessions with you exploring several key areas while tailor-fitting each session organically to meet the specific needs of each couple.

In intimacy a couple moves intentionally toward one another with a desire and commitment to see into each other’s
heart and mind and where they reveal their heart and mind.

Our time together will include.

• Why the covenant of marriage? What is leaving and cleaving?

• Exploring expectations and discovering desires.

• Cultivating freedom in spiritual intimacy.

• Honest open conversations about sex and physical intimacy.

• Roles and responsibilities based on your specific graces.

• Understanding and defining core values as you move into marriage.

• Tools for connecting, communication, navigating conflict, and repairing disconnection.

• The DISC personality assessment is a great tool we often use to identify your personality styles and understand differences that God has designed to be a gift of strength in your relationship.

• We take advantage of sessions to work through real time situations and practice foundational skills.

• We always give homework. Your journey is your joy and we partner with you in it. Homework will include specific conversations we’ll ask you to have, dialoguing through questions we provide for you.

• An Engage resource full of tools and practicals; a guide for our time together each session and for you as a couple after the wedding.

We understand.

• Not every couple has the ability to commit to six sessions - perhaps due to timing of the wedding, finances, availability, so we seek to meet you where you’re at.

• That Engage, while very well designed, will have to be practically walked out - after the “I Dos”. So we love to encourage our couples to consider a monthly coaching session with us for the first six - twelve months of marriage.
